Suckerz...
WARNING: Slight spoiler! Not a big one, but slightly revealing.
The thing that I liked the most about this book is the cover. It's pretty. What I didn't like was everything else. At first, I was actually really liking the book. The characters were interesting and the plot intrigued me. I wanted to know what would happen next. Then every went downhill from there.
Willow wanted to be a cheerleader and therefore kicked Carlie out of the popular group (without trying). Yeah I know Willow didn't kick her out, but she wasn't upset about it either. In fact she was happy because she had "girl friends". That totally gave her negative points right there. Another thing that turned me off was the fact that she's now dating her "uncle". Sure he's not her real uncle, but from the description (because they don't give an age) he sound like he's old. And she tries to rectify it like two chapters later by saying he shaved and looked so much younger! Which he then counters with, he physically grows slow.
So basically that he won't look old until he's really old. And I get age difference, I mean twilight is one of my favorite books and Edward is freaking 200 years old. But the difference is when he became a vampire, he was 17. Putting him on the same level as Bella, sort of. Here they are nowhere near the same age!! So that bugged me to no end and to make matters worse, they made things kinda predictable.
I didn't finish the book, but I bet you Gage is Mikaul (I think that's how you spell it). And really I just didn't understand why Willow thought Mikaul would want to kill her. She explained it, but I thought her reason was kinda stupid. Basically, I thought she was whiny, unrealistic, and very annoying. I sound like a mean person, but I'm not going to lie about how I feel. This book just wasn't for me, but hopefully it can be for others. So read it...I dare you.
